Girls Night Out: Sugar Rush Edition 💚
Last night was perf, like 12/10 no notes. I finally got to live my espresso martini dreams again—first time since that flight at Crafted in St. Louis—and it was hitting. The bartenders were giving twinning core and had on the same stripey stripe button ups.
Sugar Rush had their own signature drink and shot on the menu (iconic), plus mocktails for the girlies when it was time to wind down. Super thoughtful of them to keep us hydrated and cutsie!
It was giving official girls night energy and my absolute FAV was Spencer AKA @Burly_esque—literally who ate the stage up and even flipped me off?? I almost ascended. We got monster bear claws from Haley (bless her), made franz, and sat down to do coloring sheets. This is a staple for their arty events there is always a creative space for the arty peeps to thrive and show of their talents.
Anna entered the costume contest and everyone looked so freakin’ cute I could scream. The whole room was monster-themed with eyeballs everywhere and scary movies playing in the background. The stage looked like a kawaii version of Pee-wee’s Playhouse, and I was highkey obsessed. We even got treated to brat remix at one point, and then Rhi and I finished the night listening to Slayyyter in the car like the bad b's we are.
Things had taken a hard left when this chick dressed as Handmaid’s Tale character started crawling on the floor like she was in The Ring... absolutely NOT. It was fun being scared even though it wasn't Halloween like what did we expect...prolly just some man eater and we were there for it <3
Oh, and I might’ve been flirting with a manz all night 👀 and yes, I did get lucky… with Taco Bell + cuddles. Wasn’t planning to snack after dark but tacos and water got delivered to my door?? Be so fr. I think I might be in love. Shame it didn’t save me from the hangover, but honestly… worth it.
